Emmanuel Day School Closing Policy

As noted on our school calendar, The Emmanuel Day School observes Holidays and Vacations.

The School is closed for the summer after its graduation in June and re-opens the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Vacations coincide with the Newport Public School vacations, with the exception of Christmas Holiday which may differ from each year by a day or two.

The Emmanuel Day School will close during inclement weather days! Closings will be posted on the website immediately! You may also listen to WADK 1540 AM the Newport Station, or tune into WJAR Channel 10-Providence on your television and watch at the bottom of the screen for The Emmanuel Day School, Newport. We will make every effort to change our phone greeting on the School telephone: 401.847.7444, or the Church: 401.847.0675, as soon as we possibly can on that day.

The Emmanuel Day School is not responsible for days missed by storms due to snow, hurricanes, or other types of foul weather that is not safe for traveling. Your tuition will not be altered or refunded by missed days or early dismissal/delayed arrival days, due to these weather events.
