Emmanuel Day School Food Catering Program
School Food Catering Program On Hold Indefinitely Unfortunately, Miss Julie has had to put the school lunch program on hold indefinitely. We are still not certain at this point if Julie Viau is returning from her maternity leave for the 2007-2008 school year. If you are interested in a school lunch program please email Miss Dawn so that she can contact her. The lunch program is $5 per day and she requires a minimum of 20 students for it to be worthwhile. Please let us know if you are interested so that it can be offered to other families as well. The Emmanuel Day School lunch program is provided by a privately catered program, A Thyme to Peas, and is one that is encouraged, as children will receive a hot, well balanced meal. Julie Viau is a local chef in town. She has established menus for many of Newport’s local restaurants, and provides private home catering for parties, etc. She offers a healthy, eclectic menu that is sure to please most children and their parents. The Emmanuel Day School would like to state that we do not profit in any way from A Thyme to Peas lunch program. It is meant to be a convenience only to our busy families!
