Emmanuel Day School Field Trips
The Emmanuel Day School will participate in many off campus trips to
help further our learning experiences and enhance our knowledge that
correlate with our many fun themes throughout the year!
We prefer local locations such as Belcourt Castle, the Astor’s
Beechwood, Columbus’ Statue, and the Gaudet School Planetarium
to name a few, but on occasion we will travel across the bridge to
visit an authentic Colonial Mansion, or a Hands-on Sea life Museum
in North Kingston. At times we will even have in-house field trips
where the adventure comes to us.
Children benefit greatly from these experiences and are only meant
to promote more independence, knowledge and fun!
Children will ride with staff and parent volunteers in insured-safe
vehicles with the proper car seats for their body weight as according
to the RI State Laws pertaining to this.
Children will go on the trip unless the parent decides against it.
(There will be no school on that day for a student not attending).
Parents will need to sign-up with the Staff if they are attending.
(Scheduled trips will appear on your monthly calendar). Children who
are not scheduled for school that day may go with their parent as
a chaperone.
Field Trips are a separate cost, usually under $5 or free and can
be paid at sign-up.
