What to bring for summer camp sessions

Hello Parents,

Thank you for your interest in the Summer Art History at Emmanuel Church summer camp series.

During camp, your child will be with either myself, Dawn M. Grinnell, the Director, or one of our other teachers or assistants over the summer months. They will also be exposed to teachers/staff that are experts in their fields, (Miss Terri...Photo's, etc..), or those folks that work at Emmanuel Church, Rev. Cole and our Parish Administrator. All personnel have been screened and are comfortable with many of the children in the program already!

Children should come to camp with the following items: Applied sunscreen all over the body, a hat, if sun-sensitive, a marked backpack (bag) with name afixed somehow on the outside that contains a change of clothing, (every item), and a garment that they wouldn't mind getting wet in, (children may bring/wear a bathing suit if they'd like and bring a dry shirt to change into after waterplay). Please bring a raincoat for wet days.

Snack is provided. Children should bring lunches that are clearly marked with their names and a self-contained ice pack or two inside the box to cool foods that may spoil. (Refrig. is not offered at camp). Juice boxes and water bottles work fine for drinks. (For summer, I would avoid milk at lunchtime). If your child still struggles with "making it to the potty" please let the appropriate staff know.

Please confirm with me at sign-in all your registration information on the first day. Please update phone #'s and cell #'s before leaving. Remember, you need to let me know in writing if someone other than yourself, or your spouse will be picking up. Please also pay for the session attending at the time of check-in for that particular week if you haven't done so already. We ask that arrivals and pick-ups be at 9 am and 1 pm respectively.

We are looking forward to a great summer with your child! Any Questions, please call or email me.

Miss Dawn
