EDS celebrates Easter - March 20, 2008

Emmanuel Day School students' month long study of the last days of Christ culminated in the re-enactment of the Passion of Christ by all EDS students. Walking through the events that lead up to Easter really brought this story to life for our students like never before. They also enjoyed a chapel lesson with our visiting priest, Reverend Stephanie Shoemaker, and of course, the 3rd Annual Emmanuel Day School Easter Egg Hunt!

Mother of child who was "Jesus" in the play writes:
"All I can say is we were WOWed by the pictures from the Easter play. It was great to be able to share them with our families too. They were all very impressed with the play. [My son] was really impressed by his role as Jesus as well, and told us all about the events leading up to Easter. This is something I think he'll always remember, I know we will.
